CAMPAIGN – “ Harit Diwali – Swasth Diwali”

Extending the celebrations of Environment month , students from DPSG SL participated in a campaign called “Harit Diwali- Swasth Diwali” organized by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change  at Indira Paryavaran Bhavan on 17 August 2017 . The event was inaugurated by the environment minister, Dr. Harshvardhan , wherein he encouraged the young participants in  the campaign and motivated them to celebrate the festival of Diwali without crackers which would be a great contribution in saving mother earth from noise pollution and air pollution. The Vice Chairman of DPSG group Mr. Anshul Pathak was also present at the event to encourage our students at the campaign.

The event started with the prayer to save mother earth followed by beautiful street plays presented by the students of DPSG schools with the message of saving environment and keeping it neat and pollution free.

Students from DPSG SL enthusiastically participated in various competitions which were a part of the campaign like poster making , mix media art presentation , power point presentation and  model making.

The models and posters made by students were exhibited at Indira Paryavaran Bhavan  and were appreciated by Dr. Harshvardhan . Students felt extremely pleased to present and explain their models to the visitors .

It was a proud moment for us to see Dr. Harshvardhan presenting the certificates of participants to our principal , Ms. Rashmi Prakash as a token of appreciation.
