Principal's Message

“Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself” – John Dewey

A truly excellent education is about much more than academic achievement alone, it is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, moral values, self-confidence without arrogance and a broad range of interests that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. It is a complete development of the person, to ensure that each pupil leaves DPSGS-SL is then ready for the challenges that lie ahead. It is an education for life.

At DPSG-Sushant Lok, we aim to provide an excellent all-round education so that every pupil can achieve full potential academically and socially. However, we do not believe that raw result shows the true measure of a school. It is far more important that each individual achieves his or her best. Students are prepared for active independent learning in an environment which fuels a spirit of inquiry and keen competition. “Aspire, “Act” and “Achieve” will be the spirit enthused in the students motivating and guiding them to carve a niche for themselves in today’s competitive and techno era.

In the years ahead, our children will inherit the world which will be profoundly different and will demand a different outlook and set of skills from them. It is our constant endeavor to provide an education which inculcates creativity, confidence along with strong ethical values.

Through our co-curricular program, we aim to work on the innate talents of our children, helping them to discover their inclinations and build their creative and collaborative skills in a fun and dynamic environment.

Life is not just a set of instructions but a series of expressions and a learning process. The basic skills of life like time management, making the right choices, being innovative in solving problems are acquired by students through a series of curricular activities being held in the school. Let us forge ahead together with determined steps and create permanent imprints on sands of time. We need to make a conscious effort to build and the building moments will outshine the breaking moments leading to a positive balance.

In the words of Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” In the process of education, the role of parents cannot be underestimated. Please encourage your child to venture out and discover his/her strength and interest.

In their path of progress, I urge the students to look back with gratitude, look up with confidence and look forward with a hope.
